What is an Intuitive Designer?
An Intuitive Designer taps into information and awareness which is deeper than our normal fivesenses, harnessing and incorporating the knowledge and wisdom revealed for the wellbeing and soul journey of the client.
How conscious are we in our awareness of the messages spaces give us in our work with clients and their homes? How can we hear that Inner teacher more clearly and how do we interpret the information? As designers if we develop and trust our connection to this knowledge which comes from a deeper place than our 5-senses we can create truly inspired, heartfelt andenergetically aligned spaces for both ourselves and our clients..
Space
What makes up the feeling of a space or room? How do we experience that?
We will look at the subtle messages we pick up when with clients and how we can use those messages to best understand and serve our clients and their needs. We will also look at the Psychology of the different spaces that make up a home and the insights that may give us.
Form
What is beauty? What is the connection of shape and substance?
We will look at ways to understand the interplay of shape, substance and balance, what constitutes beautiful? Is there a geometry to beauty? We will also explore imprinted memory and its effect and how even favourite inherited family treasures, can hold the story of their previous owners.
Color
How do we choose the 'right' color for a scheme? Do we use our 'Inner tuition' to select the best color for the client and the space or do we suggest a color just because we like it? How does that choice affect our clients energy and that of the room?
It is easy as Designers to find a color combination we like and find ourselves repeating it because ''it works' but is that best for the new client and property? We will look at the energetic effect of color and our choices through experience with some interesting color exercises and will be exploring the connection to our own relationship and preferences when it comes to selection.
